The Sassenach Suite is designed with “The Outlander” Series in mind. Scotland 1740’s – Jamie & Claire, the 2 main characters in the series are Laird & Lady of Broch Tuarach. Claire has come through the standing stones at Craigh na dun, to 200 years in the past. An English woman in the highlight of the Scottish-English uprisings. “Sassenach” is the not-so-nice term for an English woman in Scotland, but from Jamie’s lips, it is a loving nick name for Claire. Travels on the high seas, a stop in Paris, “The White Witch”, or starting a new life on Fraser’s Ridge – a bit of The Fraser’s are in this room!
